Millsaps Fall Enrichment Offers Intuitive Painting Class

Let Your Inner Painter Sparkle
Mondays, October 7 - 28 (4 class mtgs.)
Time: 5:45 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.;
Cost $100 (includes all supplies)
ONLY $50 for Millsaps faculty, staff and students

Everyone CAN paint. Yes, even you! Freely playing with colorful paints can amp up your joy, shine the light on your innate gifts and give a big boost to your creativity and intuition. On the flip side, self-doubt and fear become less prevalent when painting for fun because your focus is only on the process. There is no pressure to reach a goal with your painting or master painting techniques in this class. Since it is impossible to paint incorrectly, self-confidence swells when you practice this type of painting on a regular basis. If you are looking for a new way to add color to your life this fall, please join us! This class is appropriate for all levels of painting experience and beginners are especially welcome. This class meets at TiP Expressive Arts Studio in Clinton. All supplies, including aprons, are provided. Please wear comfortable, casual clothing that can handle a few unruly splatters of paint.

Beverly Keaton Smith is a Millsaps graduate who was certified as a life coach through The Coaches Training Institute in 2005. After graduating from the Wild Heart Expressive Arts Teacher Training Program in Oakland, California, Beverly founded TiP Expressive Arts Studio in Clinton so she can share her passion for intuitive painting with others. Learn more about Beverly and intuitive painting at TipArts.com.
